MentorNet Program
The WAWAs are committed to supporting you and other female elected members.
As a current female elected member, or someone considering becoming an elected member, you may seek support or advice from experienced women in the industry through the MentorNet program.
We maintain a database of female elected members from across Western Australia who have volunteered to be a mentor for other women. These Mentors are identified by the WAWA Committee as a result of their local government experience and willingness to support other women. Mentors come from large and small local governments, both country and metropolitan, and have a wide variety of interests and experience.
